Join us as a volunteer to assist in the planning and execution of our annual Diwali celebration. Diwali (also called Divali or Deepavali) is a “festival of lights” that celebrates the triumph of light over dark, good over evil, and the blessings of victory, freedom, and enlightenment. This task force meets monthly - weekly from September-November. The members of this task force assist in working with community partners to secure decorating, secure Rangoli artist, and organize dance performances and music.
