Albany Teen Nite Volunteers

Albany YMCA

Teen Nite is a program for youth that occurs twice monthly on Saturdays out of Green Tech Charter School, and in City of Albany parks in the summer. For over twenty years, the Capital District YMCA has held Teen Nite in Albany as part of its Gang Prevention initiative. Teen Nite provides a safe space for teens to gather and play basketball, eat food, listen to music, and hang out with their friends. Volunteers that participate in supporting this program will be lifelong mentors and role models to students that participate.
