Y-Knot Sailing​ ​strives to make all aspects of sailing accessible to individuals with disabilities by ​​creating​​​ ​​opportunities​, providing education, and ​promoting disabled sailing within the greater sailing community. Y-Knot’s fleet of adapted sailboats includes three Sonars and six Martin 16s. Joystick autohelm and windlass controls, dock lifts, and personal safety equipment are available to accommodate a variety of special needs. As a program of YMCA Camp Chingachgook, Y-Knot depends on volunteer support for fundraising and program operations. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, have various levels of experience on and off the water, and are the lifeblood of our organization.
