Join us as a volunteer to assist in the planning and execution of our Running Start program. Running Start is one of the Catital District YMCA's key mission programs. Donations and funds are collected to provide a new backpack with school supplies, and a gift card for back-to-school clothes shopping to families in need. This task force meets monthly - weekly from May - August. The members of this task force assist in working with community partners to secure sponsorships, donations, and planning the backpack pick-up event for families at the Southern Saratoga YMCA.
