The Capital District YMCA has partnered with Redeemer Church, Bethel Baptist Church and Costa Fruit & Produce to provide the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program in the Capital Region. We are seeking volunteers to assist with Drive-thru food box pick up every other Friday at Bethel Baptist Church in Troy. Distribution will take place 9:30am-12:30pm Food Boxes include the following: All boxes weigh 25lbs and consist of the following: ● Assorted Fresh Vegetables and Fruits ● Pre-Cooked Protein/Meat ● Dairy- Cheese, Yogurt and 1 gallon of milk (2% or whole) *Weights may vary subject to each individual piece of vegetable/fruit. **Ingredients subject to change based on availability Unable to volunteer? The Capital District YMCA has partnered with Costa Fruit & Produce Company to provide the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program in the Capital Region. We are seeking volunteers to assist with Drive-thru Food Pantries for food box pick up. Thursday, April 8th AND Thursday, April 29th we will received 1,2600 boxes (25lbs each) to distribute from the Duanesburg YMCA! We are looking for your help to get them from the pallets into trunks! Food Boxes include the following: All boxes shall weigh approximately 25lbs and consist of the following: ● Assorted Fresh Vegetables and Fruits ● Meat and Eggs- Pre-Cooked Protein/Meat ● Dairy- Cheese, Yogurt, Cheese and 1 gallon (or equivalent) of milk (2% or whole) *Weights may vary subject to each individual piece of vegetable/fruit. **Ingredients subject to change based on availability This is FREE and open to the community. We are seeking volunteers to assist with TWO Drive-thru Food Box pick-up events at the Fulton County YMCA. Thursday, April 1 and Thursday, April 29 we will receive 1,260 boxes (25lbs each) to distribute from the Fulton County YMCA! We are looking for your help to get them from the pallets into trunks!
